What is the K7 Computerized Mandibular Scanner?
The K7 Mandibular Scanner, or CMS, uses multiple sensors to evaluate and map the activity of the jaw joints. Dr. Lim can use the K7 CMS for bite registrations and to find the ideal jaw joint positions.
What is the K7 Eight Channel Electromyograph?
The K7 EMG uses bipolar surface electrodes attached to up to 8 muscle sites to collect data on the functionality and movement of the jaw muscles. The jaw muscle activity can be effectively monitored while the jaw is at rest or in motion, and a special feature allows Dr. Lim to show patients how the muscles may be functioning incorrectly on a computer screen.
What is the K7 Electrosonograph?
The K7 ESG uses sound vibrations to evaluate joint movement as the patient wears a specially designed headset. These sound vibrations allow Dr. Lim to document and evaluate any inconsistencies or potential jaw joint problems and choose a suitable treatment.
